Improve focus and reduce cognitive load	Very large meetings can be overwhelming due to the amount of visual and auditory information.	Sound and visual elements can be obscured, distorted or missing. Our brains work harder to determine key information from the ‘unfiltered sensory input’.	Use good quality audio equipment (lavalier mics or headsets) for equal understanding. A PowerPoint slide is not enough.
		Reduce the impact of a hybrid meeting’s unnatural behaviours such as muting, hand raising and intense focus on the screen.	Try focus mode in Teams and Zoom to focus on the speaker.

		Prevent remote attendees missing key information; they can lose up to 50% of what is being said.	Focus Mode in Zoom.
			Use pin speaker mode to focus on the main speaker (manual and does not switch automatically).
			Try pinning participant videos in Zoom.
			Pin a person’s video in Teams.
