Inspera is a role based system. This article lists the key roles used by the University, identifying which functional areas of Inspera they have access to and gives an indication of the specific functions they can undertake. | Planner | Deliver, Monitor and Grade | A key function of the Planner role is creating the assessments and assigning students. The role functions also include: Edit assessment settings; Allocate and edit other contributors to a test; View assessment in Grading mode. | Staff with scheduling and moderation responsibilities. |
| Grader | Grade and Monitor | Graders can mark and provide feedback on manually marked assessments; override automatic marks; view relevant Question Sets; view similarity reports | Academic staff undertaking marking |
| Chief Invigilator | Deliver and Monitor | Gets access to the test 60 minutes prior to it starting. Can monitor student progress, provide additional time, message students. Range of functions available depending on stage of test (pre, during and post) | Staff needing to monitor student progress |
