Locate is a Core tool for staff and students to find library and information resources at the Coventry University Group.
Introduction
Locate is the main Library catalogue. Through this you can access all of the libraries resources. It contains books, journals, videos newspapers and databases. Each campus has it own iteration of Locate so that the details of book availability are relevant to that campus, so just make sure you have logged on to the right one for you.

Locate is the main tool that you need to find information for setting assignment on conducting your own research. Key features include
- Embed the URL in Aula to link student directly to books
- Create your own library using the favourites button
- Check your account information to see what you have one loan
- Link to other key library services such as the library guides and document supply

Can I use it?
Locate is a Core tool, meaning it’s central to teaching and learning and available to all staff. Login for Core tools is typically via Single Sign on or you can contact the Learning Enhancement Team to find out more.
