H5P is a Managed Use content creation tool where educators can create quizzes, interactive video and other learning content for their students.
Introduction
Want to develop interactive quizzes, presentations, and mini games on your subject? How about an image with clickable hotspots with additional contextual information for learners, or a video which pauses to ask for a response from the viewer before proceeding? Or a branching scenario where a learner can make a decision and see what the outcome will be?
H5P is a tool for authoring interactive HTML5 content which can be embedded in a variety of LMS platforms or directly into webpages. It offers several tools for making content more memorable, engaging and meaningful for students.
At the moment, H5P content isn’t mobile responsive and doesn’t integrate directly with Aula, but it may be the right solution for teachers using other platforms or their own WordPress site (via www.coventry.domains, for example).

Can I use it?
This product is marked as Managed Use in the Teaching and Learning Ecosystem document, so while the university doesn’t provide licences, staff can use it with students after consideration of GDPR and data security. If you have concerns, speak to your Associate Head of School for Student Experience or equivalent role.
Firewall Status: Safe – This tool is likely to work for learners in countries with more restrictive firewalls.
