The Coventry University Group position is to consider how we adapt our teaching, learning and assessment to make the most of AI in an effective, ethical, and transparent way. Evaluating the potential risk of AI to your assessments
The use of AI does present challenges and opportunities for how it is used in our teaching, learning and assessment practice. All courses are therefore required to review their assessments to identify potential risk for academic misconduct and where such risk is identified to undertake assessment re-design informed by the AI and assessment design principles.
- Timelines
- Review to be completed by January 2025, to identify which assessments need to be updated ready for September 2025 delivery.
To support the review process the following AI Risk Measure framework has been created against which to evaluate assessments:
